Helping parents support and nurture their junior athletes.

This course is designed to cover the fundamentals of supportive sports parenting and achieve a greater understanding of your junior athletes’ mindset. Upon completion of this course, you will have the tools to:-

  • Understand your child’s motivations and frustrations

  • Conduct open and effective communication and conversations

  • Build a strong and healthy relationship with your child through their sporting journey

  • Help your athlete learn and grow

  • Build your child’s resilience and mental toughness

  • Alleviate their fear of failure and pressure to perform

  • Watch them enjoy their sport and achieve their potential

Unnecessary pressure plagues junior sports grades across the world and the expectation to win at almost all costs. This affects the connection to the sport that the child has and the reason they took to the sport in the first place. Although we understand those good young athletes who have the potential to become talented, maybe swept along rapidly by the lure of becoming a professional sportsman/woman, the reality is that most kids fundamentally play sport for completely different reasons.

Now is the time to let the talent evolve and the potential come to fruition by providing your junior athlete with a supportive and encouraging environment to succeed.
